Where Originality Resides
The mission for Rescued Living has been clear from the beginning: design, create and rescue. In 2012, I set out to design and create beautiful things for your home and lifestyle. Rescuing pieces and giving them new life often with a unique twist and contemporary function. Making and curating quality handcrafted goods locally.
I was proudly born and raised in Oregon where genuine Pendleton wool was a staple textile. From winter bundling to summer picnics on a fringed blanket, it was part of our daily lifestyle. So naturally, it is a predominant element that is incorporated into our soft goods such as pillows and upholstery.
Pendleton wool for me personally, evokes a feeling of heritage as it is beautifully rich in color and texture’s that reminds me of Oregon’s incredible natural elements. From our beautiful coastline to the lush forested mountains tops and across to the spectacular views of our high deserts. What I find even more amazing is that the rich colors and textures of Pendleton wool is truly reflective of all these aspects on a global level. They were originated long before and will far surpass any trends or phases. That’s why it is so important to me to create pieces with quality, originality and heart so they might be shared for generations in your home.
With the passion to design and create I hope to always aim to do better and continue to provide an atmosphere of inspiration and unique creativity. Whether it’s our exclusive 1859 Collection of candles and lifestyle goods to our original, unique style of upholstery. Rescued Living will continue to build on its original mission of rescuing found items and giving them new life as beautiful one-of-a-kind pieces for the collected home.
